Job Title: Business Development/Sales Representative
Reports To: General Manager or Franchise Owner
Key Areas of Responsibility:
The Sales Representative must have demonstrated the ability to consult, coach, build relationships and influence other businesspeople to achieve sales growth. All candidates must have the ability to work well with management and the entire FlyLock team. The Sales Representative is responsible for visiting clients in person in the field, forging and developing relationships with local businesses, schools, facility and property managers, to secure sales leads and partnerships and to drive commercial sales. The ideal candidate will have Field sales Security industry-relevant knowledge, video surveillance and access controls experience, some doors and door hardware experience as well as an independent sales mentality. Sales representative will drive their own vehicles to local commercial client sites for business development

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Visit clients, build relationships, listen, understand and evaluate client security needs to provide security solutions.
  • Perform on-site job visits, surveys and develop proposals.
  • Drive to local client sites in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Fulton, Dekalb, Henry, Carol and Atlanta Airport area
  • Develop and implement a sales plan and sales strategies to grow local sales.
  • Develop and cultivate new leads through cold calls, visits and networking.
  • Develop and cultivate existing referral partnerships to generate more business opportunities.
  • Attending networking events and local trade shows.
  • Perform presentations to referring partners and their staff on our security solutions services.
  • Develop and execute a marketing program to grow referral source relationships for new business.
Requirements for this position include:
  • Minimum of 5 years B2B security, surveillance cameras, access controls sales experience
  • Proven sales record in the security solutions industry, doors and locksmith industry
  • Experience with video surveillance systems, access controls, doors, locks and keys required
  • Team oriented.
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skill in influencing performance in others through coaching, consulting, and goal setting.
  • Analytical thinker and strong problem solver.
  • Some level of business acumen - financial, operations, marketing, and sales. Aligns work with strategic goals.
  • Adaptable - manages competing demands and deals with frequent change.
  • Innovate - meets challenges with resourcefulness, and generates suggestions for improvement.
  • Project management of security projects
  • Working knowledge of sales prospecting and tools like linkedin, alignable, seamless etc
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems such as Zoho begin, HubSpot and use of AI tools
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must clear required job screens
  • Must have own reliable transportation and Georgia drivers license to drive to local clients.
