We combine expert FAA consulting with our proprietary LevelFlight cloud-based SaaS platform to deliver a connected compliance ecosystem. Our team helps operators achieve certification, maintain compliance, and build safer operations across Part 91, 125, and 135 operations.


We are industry pioneers responsible for the first Part 135 polar route authorization, first CAT IIIb for Part 125 aircraft, and the first Part 135 Aircrew Designated Examiner Program.


Position Summary


We are seeking an Office / Sales Manager to join our team at our Torrance, CA headquarters. This is a dual-role position managing the Torrance office operations while driving new business development and sales for Fly Compliant's consulting services and LevelFlight software platform. This is a true 50/50 split between office management and sales/business development.


Office Management Responsibilities (50%)


  • Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions at the Torrance headquarters
  • - Manage office budget, vendor relationships, and facilities
  • - Coordinate with the Florida office to ensure consistent processes and communication
  • - Support HR functions in partnership with BambooHR (onboarding, scheduling, office policies)
  • - Manage office supplies, equipment, and IT coordination
  • - Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and vendors at the Torrance location
  • - Maintain organized filing systems and ensure regulatory document accessibility

Sales and Business Development Responsibilities (50%)


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Part 91, 125, and 135 operators
  • - Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for consulting services and LevelFlight subscriptions
  • - Develop and maintain relationships with aviation operators, management companies, and industry partners
  • - Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows (NBAA, etc.) to represent Fly Compliant
  • - Prepare proposals, presentations, and pricing for prospective clients
  • - Track pipeline activity and report on sales metrics
  • - Collaborate with the compliance team to understand client needs and tailor solutions
  • - Upsell existing clients on additional services (CAP, SMS, training, certification)

Required Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience in office management, operations, or administrative leadership
  • - 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
  • - Aviation industry experience required understanding of Part 91/125/135 operations, FAA regulatory environment, or aviation services
  • - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • - Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • - Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • - Ability to travel for industry events and client meetings as needed

Preferred Qualifications


  • Existing network within the private aviation / charter industry
  • - Experience selling SaaS products or compliance/consulting services
  • - Familiarity with FAA certification processes
  • - Experience managing a small office (under 50 employees)
  • - Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, or related field
