Systems Integrator – Water/Wastewater


Location: Chandler or Tucson, AZ

THIS POSITION IS SEMI REMOTE. Remote approximately 60% of the time.

About the Role

We are seeking a Systems Integrator with experience in water and wastewater projects to support both design and field operations. This position offers the opportunity to work across a range of projects that combine automation, controls, and mechanical/electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable bridging office-based engineering work with hands-on field implementation

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate automation, control, and electrical systems for municipal and industrial water/wastewater facilities
  • Support design, programming, testing, and commissioning of control systems (PLC/HMI/SCADA)
  • Perform field work, including installation support, system startup, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and end users to ensure smooth system operation and project success
  • Develop documentation, drawings, and reports related to system integration and performance

.Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering or equivalent technical experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with system integration, automation, or controls—preferably in the water/wastewater sector
  • Hands-on experience with PLC and HMI programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
  • Understanding of electrical schematics, panel layouts, and field instrumentation
  • Willingness to perform field work and travel locally for site support
