Job description

Flow Honda of Winston Salem is seeking a part-time Product Experience Specialist whose purpose is to deliver a world class customer experience. This role is responsible for creating an entertaining, extraordinary presentation and delivery for every sales customer. The product specialist position is pivotal to bringing joy to the buying process.  If we are professional, attentive, and eager to assist, we will create customers for life. Part time or full time availability.

We provide ongoing training and future career opportunities to those willing to contribute the effort and time. We prefer to promote from within our company and will help you reach your potential. We will train anyone new to the industry, including on-site and manufacturer instruction, and other technical training, as needed.

The Product Specialist must be able to perform the following tasks for every customer they serve:

  • Be a product knowledge champion.
  • Create custom demonstration videos for customers who have made sales appointments.
  • Do engaging vehicle “walk-arounds” customized for the customer’s wants and needs.
  • Communicate clearly and appropriately with customers and managers.
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery: gas, detail, accessories, pre-delivery worksheets, custom programming of convenience features, ensure cleanliness, providing a thorough vehicle delivery explaining the vehicle to the customer, and connecting the customer with a sales manager in order to do an exit interview.
  • Help transfer customer’s items to the new car
  • Offer to reconnect with the customer at any time in order to more fully explain the features of the vehicle.
  • Perform an introduction to the service department.
  • Assist in entering the customer’s trade-in vehicle into inventory.

Responsibilities when not with a customer:

  • Ensure the lot is straight and presentable.
  • Take pictures of inventory for website merchandising.
  • Straighten work areas, stock customer lounges, and maintain general cleanliness.
  • Equip work areas and desks with necessary supplies and paperwork.
  • Maintain manufacturer training.
  • Complete dealer trade drives.
  • Assist with necessary tasks, as assigned.
