Position Overview

As an OTR Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across regional and interstate routes while maintaining compliance with all applicable DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer on OTR routes.
• Transport and deliver freight safely and on schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and required documentation.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and company personnel.
• Secure and protect cargo during transportation.
• Maintain a clean and professional truck and equipment.
• Handle unexpected road, weather, and delivery situations responsibly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean and acceptable driving record.
• Previous OTR or long-haul driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and drug screening.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Reliable, responsible, and professional work ethic.
• Ability to be away from home for extended periods as required by OTR operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
