Job description

The FBM Sr Regional Business Performance Manager is responsible for facilitating the development and monitoring the execution of Florida Blue Medicare's regional strategies to drive growth and business performance. This role will coordinate activities across Medicare's key growth departments (product, sales, marketing and network) and support defining and implementing Medicare specific regional strategies with enterprise and local market teams. In addition, this role will be report on regional progress in collaboration with market presidents. This role will be accountable for coordinating a process to gather market and competitor intelligence and additional data to support the development of regional strategies. The role should have significant knowledge of Medicare Advantage products, sales and marketing tactics, provider network performance, and in-depth knowledge of local Florida markets.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate the collection of regional market intelligence to understand prospect buying preferences and competitive positioning
  • Coordinate the collection of regional feedback to Medicare growth teams to influence overall Medicare strategy and planning (product, sales, marketing, and network)
  • Works with Medicare growth teams to document regional specific strategies and associated implementation/performance plans
  • Based on Medicare’s strategy, identify strategic capabilities and initiatives that need to be implemented to achieve desired business outcomes
  • Coordinates the execution of cross-functional activities between Medicare’s growth departments to support delivery/implementation of regional strategy
  • Coordinates the execution Medicare’s regional strategy with Market President and local market teams
  • Develop regional scorecards to track and monitor key performance indicators
  • Coordinates the development of Medicare’s regional performance plan and provides timelines, key milestones, and status
  • Coordinates and communicates with Commercial’s local market teams
  • Conduct AEP operational readiness activities
  • Develops initiative workplans and coordinates efforts with cross-functional departments
  • Identify key risks/barriers and develops risk mitigation strategies
  • Develops operational and governance model to supporting ongoing maintenance of capabilities
  • Develops operational metrics and benefit realization model to ensure Medicare is achieving appropriate ROI
Job Requirements:
  • 6+ years related work experience. Experience Details: Healthcare Consulting
  • Related Bachelor's degree required
  • Solid understanding of Healthcare industry and business processes, and technology
  • Understand the issues, trends, environment and business implications impacting their management area
  • Demonstrated ability to influence people in a cross-functional setting
  • Strong demonstrated ability to establish, implement and manage effective work processes
  • Demonstrated experience with concepts, theories and processes of Project Management Methodology (PMM)
  • Must have strong demonstrated ability to provide input and influence into the business plans and strategies
Preferred:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise projects
  • Go-To-Market processes and knowledge

Annualized Salary Range: $109,300 - $177,600

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $109,300 - $136,600

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
