Work Environment

This position is located at our onsite rehabilitation facility in San Antonio, Texas, where you will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to patient care. The role features a balanced work schedule, primarily from Monday to Thursday, 3 PM to 7 PM, with a four-hour day shift on Fridays. This setup allows for effective patient consultations while maintaining work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics of patients to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Administer evidence-based physical therapy procedures and modalities tailored to the specific needs of patients.
• Engage in patient education by consulting with patients and their families about treatment options and expected outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions comprehensively and timely, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
• Maintain effective communication with an array of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants and support staff involved in the treatment process to guarantee high-quality patient services.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives, striving to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Contribute to departmental operational oversight, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and resource allocation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Flex Well Therapy Center, you will work with a wide range of patients, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. This position requires an understanding of various therapeutic approaches to cater to the diverse needs of each patient segment while promoting optimal recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current state Physical Therapist license is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in various physical therapy practices tailored to specific populations.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and build rapport with patients and fellow team members.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced training or certification in specialized areas of physical therapy is a plus.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient patient documentation and management.
• A background in community outreach or health promotion activities can be beneficial for patient engagement efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 1,000,000 to 1,200,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
