Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with client screenings, including new admissions within 24 hours and long term residents experiencing significant change or referred by nursing
- Implement treatment programs for clients as directed by the Physical Therapist and supported by doctor's orders.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and timely. This may include daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, monthly recertifications, and discharge summaries, all co-signed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Schedule clients appropriately on the assigned caseload.
Qualifications
Current license from Florida Department of Health
Minimum Education Required:
Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
