Dining Service Manager (AL, Huntsville)

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a talented and motivated individual to fill the role of Dining Manager. The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service facility, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Site Manager Responsibilities:
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of food service employees during the morning shift.
  • Ensuring that all food service areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Working closely with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient operation.
  • Monitoring employee performance and providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Prepare and supervise the production of food and beverage items.
  • Monitor quality and freshness and maintain inventory levels.

Who we're looking for:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft office.

General Requirements:
  • Lift and carry 50lbs+ on a repetitive basis, with the ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
  • Consent to a pre-employment background check.
  • Consent to a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Follow workplace safety policies and guidelines.
  • Culinary experience
