Experienced Part-Time Personal Trainer (1099)

Piscataway, NJ / Middlesex County

Fit4Blast is hiring experienced part-time Personal Trainers to work with clients at our Piscataway facility and with select in-home clients throughout Middlesex County.

Main Facility:
371 Hoes Lane, Piscataway, NJ

We are expanding our roster and are looking for experienced, professional, and dependable trainers interested in adding recurring clients to their existing schedule.

Important: This Is a Part-Time Opportunity

This position is part-time only.

We are not looking for trainers who expect Fit4Blast to completely fill their weekly schedule.

This opportunity is best suited for experienced trainers who already have clients, another fitness position, or other professional commitments and would like to fill available openings in their schedule with additional recurring clients.

No minimum number of weekly hours or clients is guaranteed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of active personal training experience
• Current Personal Training Certification: NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent
• Current CPR / First Aid Certification
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Organized and dependable
• Consistent recurring availability

Beginners and newly certified trainers will not be considered.

Preferred Availability

Our highest-demand training hours are:

• Mornings: 6:00 AM–9:00 AM
• Evenings: 6:00 PM–9:00 PM
• Weekends: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

You do not need to be available every day. However, the availability you provide must be consistent and reliable from week to week.

Compensation

• $30 – One-on-One Training
• $40 – Two-on-One Training
• Bi-weekly payments
• 1099 Independent Contractor position

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, individualized personal training sessions
• Follow Fit4Blast coaching and service standards
• Use our scheduling app for appointments and session management
• Arrive prepared and on time
• Maintain professional communication and appearance
• Maintain an organized and reliable schedule
• Provide a consistent experience for recurring clients

Reliability Is Essential

Our clients typically train on recurring weekly schedules, so consistency is extremely important.

Trainers must be able to:

• Maintain the availability they provide
• Avoid unnecessary last-minute cancellations
• Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
• Keep track of appointments and client schedules
• Communicate schedule conflicts professionally and in advance

Once you accept a recurring client, we expect you to protect that training time.

Trainers who:

• Are looking specifically for part-time additional training opportunities
• Already maintain another job, client base, or professional schedule
• Want recurring clients rather than occasional random sessions
• Can maintain consistent weekly availability
• Are experienced, organized, professional, and dependable

This position is not designed as a full-time employment opportunity, and Fit4Blast does not guarantee a minimum number of clients or weekly hours.
