Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is designed to foster healing and recovery. As a Physical Therapist, you'll work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with comprehensive therapeutic resources. The schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allows for a stable work-life balance, permitting you to engage deeply with your patients while enjoying your personal time. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including orthopedic specialists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, supports a holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and functional screenings, to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to aid in the recovery from injuries or surgeries.
• Educate patients on effective injury prevention strategies and recovery guidelines to enhance their understanding of their conditions and promote long-term health.
• Document progress and maintain accurate patient records using our electronic health record (EHR) system to track treatment outcomes and adapt care as necessary.
• Engage in collaborative care planning with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated therapy approaches that address all aspects of a patient’s health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our outpatient clinic, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including but not limited to post-operative clients, athletes, and those experiencing chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population allows for a varied and enriching experience, as you have the opportunity to apply different therapeutic interventions tailored to a wide range of diagnoses.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates holding a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• A valid Nevada Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one is essential.
• A strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care and promoting patient independence.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients and the broader clinical team.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply, as mentorship opportunities are available.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic practices and modalities within the outpatient environment is a plus.
• Experience using technology and EHR systems to document patient care efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
