Job Overview
We are a 31 room boutique hotel seeking an energetic and dynamic General Hotel Manager to lead our hospitality team with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold brand standards, and foster a welcoming environment that keeps guests returning time and again. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue management opportunities while maintaining high-quality guest services.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards across all departments.
  • Foster excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring memorable experiences for every visitor.
  • Coordinate procedures and oversee front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette standards.
  • Monitor hotel occupancy rates, review daily revenue reports, and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize profitability.
  • Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote hotel via marketing and social media.

Skills

  • Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities.
  • 5+ years experience a huge plus!
  • AANR experience a huge plus!
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality management practices including guest services, human resources, budgeting, and revenue management.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and efficiently.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive operational excellence.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and hotel software platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with a professional phone etiquette standard.
  • Experience in resort environments or boutique hotels is a plus for understanding operations and a personal touch.
