Job description

Sandblaster provides guidance and support to painters with experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting or other types of finishing by performing sandblasting operations
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are being followed during the sandblasting process
  • Operate sandblasting equipment and machinery, including adjusting the necessary settings and maintaining equipment
  • Inspect equipment, materials, and surfaces before and after the sandblasting process to ensure that the job has been completed to the required standard
  • Keep accurate records of all sandblasting jobs, including the materials used, the time taken, and any issues that arose during the process
  • Experience in sandblasting techniques and equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to sandblasting operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
