The TIR/AUTO/Cargo Clerk plays a critical role in terminal, vessel, and cargo operations by ensuring the accurate inspection, documentation, tracking, and movement of cargo, vehicles, containers, chassis, trailers, and heavy equipment. This position is responsible for maintaining cargo integrity, supporting vessel loading operations, ensuring compliance with DOT and terminal requirements, and providing leadership and oversight to Auto Checkers.
The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced operational environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and safety standards. This role requires strong communication, customer service, documentation, and operational coordination skills.
In addition to cargo and vehicle processing responsibilities, the TIR/AUTO/Cargo Clerk supports vessel operations, inventory control activities, terminal housekeeping, equipment staging, and terminal labor functions as operational demands require.

Physical RequirementsThis position works in a dynamic port and terminal environment involving vessel operations, cargo handling, vehicle processing, gate operations, warehousing activities, and outdoor terminal conditions. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer service.
