Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify each client's unique needs and challenges.
• Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans that outline clear therapeutic goals and measurable outcomes.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques, to support clients during sessions.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that foster engagement and encourage personal growth.
• Regularly evaluating clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure they are on the path to success.
• Referring clients to additional care providers when specialized services are necessary, ensuring holistic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse individuals, each presenting complex mental health needs including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Your role will be critical in establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages open communication and facilitates healing. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant mental health discipline.
• Current licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in California.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting, showcasing your skills in therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding during client interactions.
• Crisis intervention skills to effectively manage emergency situations with clients.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, candidates with experience in telehealth settings or specialized training in trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
