Job DescriptionFinnin Ford is seeking an Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our collision repair department. This role is responsible for repairing vehicle body damage to manufacturer and dealership standards. The ideal candidate has at least one to two years of hands on body shop or collision repair experience and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
PayFinnin Ford is a union shop offering competitive pay based on experience and skill level, ranging from $21.50 to $29.35 per hour for Auto Body Technicians. Technicians are advanced as their ability grows.

Work RequirementsAbility to commute to Dubuque, IA required
In person, on site position
Valid driver’s license required
ResponsibilitiesRepair collision damage including body panels, frames, and structural components
Perform metal repair, panel replacement, and body alignment
Prepare vehicles for paint including sanding, masking, and surface prep
Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership standards
Document all repairs performed accurately
Communicate repair status and needs with body shop management
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety policies and procedures
QualificationsOne to two years of automotive body shop or collision repair experience required
Knowledge of body repair tools and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Reliable attendance and punctuality
