Job description
FINN Integrated Marketing is looking for an experienced and driven Partner, Group Account Director to lead a portfolio of client partnerships to deliver exceptional client service and foster long-term relationships. You'll focus on strategically managing and growing key accounts while ensuring alignment with our business goals. With visibility across all client-facing teams, you'll develop solutions that drive client retention and growth, ultimately leading to impactful results.

- Client Partner: You build high-trust relationships with clients, acting as an extension of their teams to grow their business as well as ours.
- Organic Growth Driver: You identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and ensure client retention.
- Team Builder: You excel at leading and developing account teams, promoting collaboration, growth, and innovation.
- Seasoned Marketing Generalist: Deep experience in a range of integrated marketing capabilities including, but not limited to Content, Social, Digital, Media, SEO/GEO, etc. with a working knowledge of how these capabilities integrate into larger marketing ecosystems.
- Strategic Advisor: You have a knack for aligning client needs with business objectives, ensuring success on both sides.
- Collaborative Problem Solver: You work cross-functionally to ensure efficient operations, seamless delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Proactive Communicator: With excellent communication skills, you manage client relationships and foster a high standard of service delivery.

Where will you work?
Wherever you are. We're a remote workplace (with optional in-office days). We have offices in Boston, Nashville, New York, Portland, DC and London.
Central or Eastern time zones are preferred to best align with team collaboration hours.
Responsibilities:
- Client Development: Lead the strategic direction of your portfolio by identifying new opportunities, setting team goals, and maintaining focus on long-term client growth and retention.
- Organic Growth & Commercial Leadership: Develop annual growth plans for your assigned portfolio and lead your teams to drive strategic value for clients, driving organic growth opportunities.
- Player Coach: Partner closely with your Account teams and lead development of the individuals and the group. Provide active coaching and mentoring while leading by example.
- Discipline Advocate: Partner with the Head of Account Management to drive best-practices and continuous improvement of the discipline.
- CX Leadership: Contribute strategically to direction of the Customer Experience (CX) function, leading key initiatives and collaborating with Project Management counterparts.
- New Business: Actively participate in new business efforts beyond organic growth by contributing to strategic pitches, building client partnerships, and identifying cross-functional opportunities that align with agency capabilities and client needs.
- Project Management Partnership: Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and client-facing needs, addressing both operational details and strategic goals. By aligning project timelines, deliverables, and expectations, ensure the client experience remains seamless across every touchpoint, from planning to execution, fostering consistency and clarity throughout the entire client journey.
- Resource Alignment & Risk Management: Navigate competing priorities across teams, ensuring resources are aligned with client and business needs while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Financial & Operational Stewardship: Oversee financial management, focused on growth and profitability, while maintaining budget alignment and delivering actionable insights to senior management and clients.
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, production, and strategy teams to implement client-centric solutions that deliver measurable results and align with the company's goals.
- Champion a Culture of Excellence: Instill a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the department, ensuring alignment with company values and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in account management within a mid-to-large marketing or advertising agency.
- Proven track record leading and growing multi-million dollar accounts.
- Deep experience in people management
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver strategic, client-focused solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Anticipated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000
Commensurate with experience and depending upon the workplace location.
