Fieve Clinical Research is seeking a second board-certified physician to serve as Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) or Co-Principal Investigator on active and upcoming Phase II-IV clinical trials in psychiatry and neurology. This is an ideal fit for a psychiatrist, neurologist, or internist - including residents, academic faculty, or clinicians transitioning from industry - who wants to stay connected to drug development without a full-time research commitment.

About Us Founded on the legacy of Ronald R. Fieve, MD - the Columbia University psychiatrist who established lithium therapy for bipolar disorder in the U.S. - Fieve Clinical Research has been part of Manhattan's clinical research landscape for more than 40 years. Our investigators have conducted 125+ trials across psychiatry, neurology, pain management, and internal medicine, working with major pharmaceutical sponsors and leading CROs including IQVIA and ICON.

What You'll Do

• Serve as Sub-I or Co-PI on industry-sponsored outpatient trials (MDD, GAD, TRD, PTSD, migraine, fibromyalgia, and more)

• Conduct protocol-specified medical/psychiatric evaluations and administer validated rating scales (MADRS, HAM-D, CGI, MIDAS, HIT-6)

• Review subject eligibility, informed consent, and safety decisions

• Identify and report adverse events per FDA/ICH-GCP requirements

• Maintain GCP-compliant source documentation

• Participate in site initiation visits, monitoring visits, and audits as assigned

• Partner with the PI and Site Director on feasibility and enrollment strategy

• Provide mentorship to study coordinators as your involvement grows

Qualifications - Required

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Active, unrestricted New York State medical license

• Board certified or board eligible (NY) in Psychiatry, Neurology, or a closely related specialty; internists also considered

• Ability to commit to a minimum of 1 on-site day/week in Midtown Manhattan

• Baseline familiarity with clinical trial regulatory requirements (FDA, IRB, informed consent)

• ICH-GCP certification preferred but not required - we support training/renewal

Qualifications - Preferred

• 1-3+ years as a sub-investigator or investigator on industry-sponsored trials (not required - training provided)

• Experience with MDD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, migraine, or epilepsy

• Existing DEA registration, or willingness to obtain

• Spanish language proficiency

• Familiarity with EDC systems (Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, REDCap)
