Join the Pack: Part-Time Experienced Professional Pet Groomer

Fieldstone Animal Inn | Millersville, MD

Are you an energetic, certified groomer who loves making pets look and feel their best? Fieldstone Animal Inn is looking for a dedicated professional to join our industry-leading team!

We believe hard work should be fun, and we provide a top-tier environment to help you succeed, including a dedicated groom room equipped with raised and walk-in tubs and a brand-new hydraulic table.

The Role & Schedule

We are looking for a reliable team member for part-time or full-time. While we will work with you to establish a consistent schedule, please note the following operational requirements:

  • Initial Training: Your first few shifts will require daytime business hours to ensure you are fully integrated into our systems.
  • Flexibility: While we establish set days, some flexibility is required to maintain proper coverage.
  • Holidays & Weekends: Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Staff Development: You will be required to attend bi-monthly staff meetings for team development and continued education.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: ONLY apply if you have professional grooming experience and a valid certification.
  • Physical Stamina: This role requires standing for extended periods throughout the year.
  • Reliability: We value communication. If you cannot attend a required meeting, advance notice is mandatory.

A Note on Time Off

We value work-life balance and do our best to accommodate requests. We require at least two weeks' notice for time off (30 days preferred). Please note that because our pets need us most during the busy seasons, requests off during peak holiday times cannot be approved.
