The Role:

We are seeking aSeniorProduct Designer tosupport our product teamsduring a critical and exciting period of growth for thecompany. In this role, you will thrive in ambiguous problem spaces, transforming complex financial concepts into straightforward, comfortable experiences forfounders,theiremployees,legalcounseland otherkeyusers. You willownend-to-end success, focusing on measurable impact rather than just beautiful artifacts. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer success partners to define the path forward where onedoesn'tyet exist.

  • Drive Insights and Strategy

  • Leverage customer insightsto form a strong point of view on product direction and design opportunities.

  • Supportresearch and discoveryinitiatives to fill knowledge gaps and inform decision-making when data is scarce.

  • Advocatecustomer centricityacross the organization, transforming cross-functional partners into advocates for the user.

  • Lead and Influence Outcomes

  • Aligndesign solutions with core business needs, KPIs, and strategic outcomes to ensure measurable impact.

  • Collaborate closely with product managersto iteratively shape product strategy, balancing innovation with time andscopeconstraints.

  • Partner with engineeringto deliverfeasibleimplementation specs, review work in progress, and iterate based on technical feedback.

  • Elevate Design Craft

  • Serve as the design leadonsmall and mediumprojectsfor our Saas fintech platform

  • Support design peerson larger platform initiatives

  • Driveearly designexplorationthrubrainstorming,sketches, userflowsand journey maps

  • Deliver final design mocks and detailed specificationsto development teams to ensure high-quality execution.

  • Translate design solutions into clear product requirementsthat bridge the gap between user needs and technical implementation.

  • Facilitate insights gatherwith theassistanceof business partners and our head of research

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 4+ years of product design experiencein a fast-moving environment, preferably within FinTech, HRTech, or HealthTech.

  • Experience supporting livein-market web or mobile productswith iterative updates

  • Versatility across the design lifecycle, with the ability to move fluidly from rough sketches and concepts to complex prototypes and detailed UI handoffs.

  • Proficiencyin modern design tools, specificallyFigma,Miro, with a strong command of visual and verbal communication.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-experienceincorporating tools such as Figma Make, Co-pilot,Claudeor Dovetail into your workflow

  • Recent familiarity with user researchtechniques and feedback loops to ensure solutions are grounded in real user needs.

  • A polished, compelling portfolioshowcasingyour ability to designa variety of digital experiences (applicationswithout a portfolio will not be considered)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent practicalexperience.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $97,000-185,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
