About the Roleย 

Asย Deputyย Nursery Manager,ย you'llย support the Nursery Manager in leading the nursery and ensuring exceptional standards of care,ย educationย and operational excellence.ย 

You will:ย 

  • Support theย day-to-dayย leadership and smooth running of the nurseryย 
  • Inspire and guide educators to deliver outstanding early years practiceย 
  • Maintainย high standardsย of safeguarding,ย health and safetyย and complianceย 
  • Build strong partnerships with families and the local communityย 
  • Support team development through coaching,ย mentoringย and feedbackย 
  • Help prepare for Ofsted inspections andย maintainย regulatory standardsย 
  • Contribute to continuousย improvementย across educational quality, teamย engagementย and nurseryย performanceย

Whatย we'reย looking forย 

You'reย a confident and passionate early yearsย professionalย whoย enjoys helping teams succeed andย children flourish.ย 

You will have:ย 

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)ย 
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, Birth to 5 Matters and child developmentย 
  • Experienceย of working in anย earlyย yearsย setting, ideally in a senior practitioner orย room leader roleย 
  • A track recordย of deliveringย high standardsย of care and educationย 
  • Experience of strong practice as a Key Personย and in implementing safeguarding,ย healthย and safety, first aid and critical care policies.ย 
  • Strongย organisational, communication and leadership skillsย 
  • GCSE Maths and English (Gradeย 4ย /C or above); or equivalentย
