Job description

Overview
This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of credit administration processes within our lending divisions. This position will be critical in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing operational efficiency, and supporting credit risk management initiatives. Serves as a resource and may provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversight - Oversee and enhance credit administration processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Review and validate credit documentation, including loan agreements, collateral documentation, and credit approval terms.
Risk Management - Assess credit administration risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues and minimize or eliminate risk. Ensure adherence to risk management policies and procedures. Stay informed about regulatory changes impacting commercial lending and credit administration practices.
Collaboration - Collaborate closely with relationship managers, credit analysts, and other stakeholders to address credit administration inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on credit administration processes and requirements.
Process Improvement - Identify opportunities to streamline credit administration workflows and improve operational efficiency. Implement best practices and process enhancements to optimize credit administration procedures and reduce operational risk. Conduct training sessions and workshops for credit administration staff to ensure understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Operational Support - Supports credit administration business processes through a variety of escalated operational tasks. Develops, implements, and ensures continuous improvement of procedures. Acts as a resource to management and other associates, including production of documentation, presentations, or other materials to educate on risk policies and procedures. Handles complex technical matters and participates in special projects.
Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs complex analysis and may direct the analytics efforts of the work group.

Qualifications:
Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of commercial credit operations, credit documentation, and loan servicing.
Preferred Education:Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Area of Study:Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or Information Services
Preferred Area of Experience:Strong understanding of commercial credit operations, credit documentation, and loan servicing. Knowledge of Salesforce, ideally nCino and FCB's configuration of the platform.

  • Experience supporting risk rating models, scorecards, or commercial credit risk frameworks.
  • Experience with commercial credit underwriting, portfolio management, risk rating assignment, annual credit reviews, or portfolio monitoring.
  • Knowledge of model lifecycle management, model monitoring, model validation, governance, or MRM practices.
  • Experience analyzing migrations, overrides, portfolio trends, criticized/classified asset trends, or model performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with nCino, Moody's CreditLens, Archer, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting regulatory examinations, internal audits, model validations, or governance reviews.
