Join Our Team at Fausto – Pasta Cook (Full-Time)

Fausto, a warm and welcoming neighborhood restaurant and wine destination in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn, is looking for a passionate Pasta Cook to join our team! Our menu is market-driven, featuring elevated but approachable dishes, with a focus on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. We pride ourselves on creating a vibrant and collaborative work environment where your passion for food can truly shine.

About the Role:

• Full-time position (includes weekends)
• You’ll be working one of our two pasta stations, prepping and cooking pasta
• Opportunity for learning other stations including a wood-fired oven

What We Expect:

• At least 2 years of experience in casual or fine dining (preferred).
• Ability to multitask under pressure while keeping a positive attitude.
• Commitment to quality and teamwork.

Your Responsibilities:

• Set up and close down your station following our high standards.
• Prep pasta and related items for daily service and the weekly prep schedule.
• Carry out opening/closing duties and assist with other tasks as needed.
• Stand for extended periods (over 6 hours) and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain the highest quality in all dishes.
