Position Summary

The Fascia Release Specialist provides in-clinic, client-focused sessions aimed at supporting mobility, comfort, and overall movement quality. This role combines hands-on skill, clinical intuition, consistent technique, clear communication, and a welcoming client experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a massage therapist or hands-on practitioner who wants meaningful work, steady weekday hours, weekends and holidays off, paid training, supportive leadership, and strong work-life balance. Compensation starts at $18.40 per hour plus commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fascia release sessions according to established clinical protocols and session goals

  • Conduct pre-session intake and brief assessments to understand client concerns, mobility limitations, and goals

  • Communicate clearly with clients about what you notice during sessions, what you would continue working on, and any recommended next steps

  • Explain session plans clearly, set expectations, and maintain a supportive, professional client experience

  • Recommend appropriate care plans, packages, or home-care guidance when relevant

  • Document client progress and session notes in accordance with clinic standards

  • Maintain a clean, organized treatment environment and follow safety and sanitation practices

  • Contribute to a respectful, supportive, team-based clinic environment

Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and guide clients during sessions

  • Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail

  • Demonstrated commitment to client safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and respectful conduct

  • Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC on a full-time basis

  • Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and follow a structured clinical method

  • A strong service mindset and genuine interest in helping clients feel better in their bodies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering hands-on bodywork, massage therapy, soft-tissue work, or therapeutic treatment in a professional setting

  • Training or certification related to bodywork, soft-tissue therapy, massage therapy, or movement-based care

  • Experience working with a wide range of clients and adapting techniques to individual needs

  • Familiarity with intake forms, basic assessments, progress tracking, and client care planning

  • Experience contributing to a collaborative, professional clinic environment

What We Offer

  • 401k

  • Monday through Friday schedule

  • Weekends and holidays off

  • Paid training in the Jessica L. Edwards' method

  • Ongoing coaching and support

  • A positive, team-oriented work environment

  • Supportive leadership without micromanagement

  • Strong work-life balance

  • A specialized clinical setting where quality, communication, and client results matter
