Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments during client intake sessions to gather pertinent information on emotional and mental health history.
  • Design and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each client's specific therapeutic needs and treatment goals.
  • Engage clients in meaningful dialogue, applying active listening skills while utilizing therapeutic questioning techniques to encourage self-reflection.
  • Utilize established emergency protocols when necessary to ensure client safety during crises.
  • Develop and lead therapeutic activities, such as role-playing and mental exercises, to reinforce coping strategies and enhance therapeutic engagement.
  • Provide ongoing counseling and guidance to clients, addressing relevant issues and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to suggest alternative therapies or services as necessary and provide referrals for additional support.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in documentation.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base is diverse, encompassing individuals from various cultural backgrounds and age groups, including both adults and children. As an LPC, you will work closely with clients facing a multitude of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use disorders. Understanding the unique circumstances and experiences of each client is integral to crafting an effective therapeutic intervention.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Possession of a current and unrestricted state Professional Counselor (LPC) license is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, particularly within a clinical setting, is essential.
  • A strong understanding of the ethical and legal standards governing counseling practices is crucial in this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with a wide range of clientele, fostering long-term therapeutic relationships.
  • Experience in collaborating as part of a healthcare team, contributing to a multidimensional approach to client care.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and associated technologies is required.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization or extensive experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to implement evidence-based practices and stay abreast of the latest counseling techniques and methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client load. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus to new hires.
