Job description

FamilyFirst Psychological Services, established in 2008, is a thriving practice that specializes in providing high-quality therapy and psychological testing for children, teens, and adults.
 
We are seeking a full-time or part-time Virginia-licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD) with expertise in working with children and adolescents to join our growing clinical team.
 
Therapists will conduct outpatient psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and families. This role is ideal for clinicians who value thoughtful, relationship-based care and high-quality clinical work. We provide a supportive, well-established practice environment with strong referral flow and administrative infrastructure so you can focus on clinical care.
 
About the Role
  • Provide psychotherapy to children and adolescents 
  • Provide parenting and caregiver support 
  • Common referral concerns include anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral challenges, social difficulties, and adjustment-related issues 
  • Maintain clinical documentation 
  • Collaborate with caregivers and referral sources when appropriate 
  • Participate in ongoing peer consultation and collaboration with colleagues
  • Optional: Provide couples and family therapy
Qualifications
  • Active Virginia licensure—Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), or Clinical Psychologists (PhD or PsyD) 
  • Expertise in working with child/adolescent populations 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Clear and timely record-keeping
Compensation & Earning Potential
  • Compensation up to $200,000 annually, based on caseload and productivity. 
  • We have a stable referral pipeline and structured clinical infrastructure that allows clinicians to build a caseload aligned with their availability, clinical interests, and professional goals.
