Family First Physical Therapy, a leading provider of orthopedic outpatient care in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a committed and skilled full-time Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our dynamic team. As a pivotal member of our practice, you will directly influence our patients' rehabilitation journeys, focusing on restoring mobility and enhancing their quality of life through personalized treatment plans.

At Family First Physical Therapy, we pride ourselves on operating in a state-of-the-art facility spanning 5,000 square feet. Our practice is designed to effectively accommodate patients with private medical insurance, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional care using the latest physical therapy techniques and technologies. Our dedicated team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a certified physical therapist assistant (PTA), who work collaboratively to ensure each patient achieves optimal health outcomes.

Work Environment

Your work will be conducted onsite in our outpatient office, which has been thoughtfully designed to foster a positive healing environment. The office operates under a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a consistent and predictable work-life balance for our staff. We emphasize teamwork and collaboration, encouraging an open dialogue among our therapists to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and document patients' individual goals and needs to ensure tailored treatment approaches.
  • Manage a caseload efficiently, dedicating an hour to each patient, and providing high-quality one-on-one care.
  • Employ evidence-based techniques to create comprehensive care plans that may incorporate various modalities and evidence-informed approaches.
  • Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Utilize effective manual therapy techniques to ameliorate pain and enhance mobility.
  • Guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, motivating and empowering them to achieve greater functional independence.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring alignment with patient-directed outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to foster comprehensive and integrated patient care.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress to ensure clear communication across the healthcare continuum.
  • Actively engage in continuing education opportunities to stay abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is advantageous.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
  • Experience in developing and adapting patient-specific recovery programs to optimize outcomes is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

Family First Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
