Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all reception desk operations in the Falcon Center throughout the academic year and seasonal breaks
- Deliver excellent customer service to members of the campus community
- Provides membership verification for entry into Falcon Center
- Responsible for creation and distribution of University ID Cards
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, direct inquiries to the appropriate individual
- Handle concerns and complaints and delegate to the appropriate professional management staff member
- Manage Falcon Center equipment check-outs and reservations/rentals
- Serve as a salesperson for Falcon Center Membership and other items
- Launder towels and other items
- Perform clerical duties
- Staff other areas of the Falcon Center as warranted by management
- Perform additional duties as warranted by management
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional, friendly, and customer service oriented
- Ability to handle monetary transactions and operate a point of sale
- Demonstrate skills on conflict resolution and problem solving
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must be able to learn and operate various computer software required for daily work
