Training and Development Coordinator/HR Support
Full-Time, Non-Exempt, On-Site,In-Person
The Training and Development Coordinator plans, coordinates, and delivers mandatory and developmental training programs for staff across all Fairview locations - ensuring compliance with DBHDS training requirements and supporting the professional growth of clinical and residential staff. The role also provides general support to the HR Department,including onboarding coordination, personnel records management, and recruitmentassistance. Primarily daytime hours. Must be available for occasional evening/weekend hours to reach all shifts. Fairview Housing and Lifestyle Recovery is a regional non-profit organization providing residential substance use disorder treatment as well as transitional housing in Northeast TN and Southwest Virginia.
What You'll Do:
- Develop, schedule, and coordinate mandatory DBHDS training - behavioral intervention,
CPR/First Aid, human rights, HIPAA /42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality, and more - Track certification and training completion across all locations; maintain compliance documentation.
- Identify training needs with HR Director and program leadership; build professional
development plans.
- Create curricula on substance use disorder treatment, trauma-informed care, and clinical best
practices.
- Manage new hire onboarding - orientation scheduling, materials, and documentation verification.

What You'll Bring:
- Heart of a teacher; positive, engaging demeanor and patience with others
- High school diplomarequired;associate'sorbachelor'sin HR, education, or related fieldpreferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in trainingcoordination, HR administration, or employeedevelopment.
- Knowledge of DBHDS training requirementsand the Virginia behavioral health workforcestandards.
- Strong organizational, projectmanagement,and communication skills across diverseaudiences.
- Proficiencywith LMS platforms, videoconferencing, and standard office software.
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain); current driver's license
