FabMax is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support our sheet metal fabrication operations. This role is responsible for receiving, moving, organizing, and delivering raw materials and finished products throughout the facility to ensure efficient production flow. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, prioritizes safety, and has experience operating material-handling equipment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and unload incoming raw materials and supplies.
  • Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Move materials safely throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Deliver materials to production work centers as required.
  • Load and unload trucks for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage locations.
  • Accurately perform material transactions in inventory systems.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Package and prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to meet customer deadlines.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or material handling preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to read work orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
