Executive Chef — Asian Fusion Concept Philadelphia Confidential Search conducted by FTK Hospitality

About the Opportunity

FTK Hospitality LLC has been retained by a premier multi-venue hospitality group to lead an Executive Chef search for the opening of an Asian fusion restaurant in Bucks county ( Just north of Philadelphia ). The concept draws inspiration from the food of Asian Fusion kitchens , You help create a menu of tasteful, locally-inspired interpretations of traditional Asian dishes alongside an elevated cocktail program.

This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity to reopen and define the culinary direction of one of the most talked-about dining destinations, within a growing, well-capitalized multi-venue hospitality group operating 20 + properties across New Jersey, Greater NYC , Philadelphia .Soon to be in SE Florida etc

Client identity will be disclosed to qualified candidates during the interview process.

Position: Executive Chef Location: Greater Philadelphia
Compensation: $100,000–$140,000 base salary, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all kitchen operations for the reopening and ongoing service of the restaurant
  • Own menu development and execution, staying true to the concept's pan-Asian fusion identity while bringing creative, seasonal interpretation
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing back-of-house culinary team
  • Manage food cost, labor cost, and kitchen P&L in partnership with ownership and corporate culinary leadership
  • Ensure consistent food quality, plating standards, and adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Partner with front-of-house leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Manage vendor relationships, purchasing, and inventory control
  • Uphold brand standards and culinary quality benchmarks across the property

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume, upscale dining environment
  • Demonstrated experience with Asian or Asian fusion cuisine strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of opening or reopening a restaurant concept
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and kitchen management skills
  • Working knowledge of food cost management, purchasing, and P&L accountability
  • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a hospitality environment
