The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for delivering high-quality

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with developmental disabilities

and behavioral challenges. The BCBA conducts behavioral assessments, develops and

oversees individualized treatment plans, supervises direct care staff, and collaborates

with families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective, ethical, and client-centered care. This position plays a critical role in improving socially significant

behaviors and enhancing the overall quality of life for individuals served.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skills assessments, and

related evaluations

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans

(BIPs)

Analyze behavioral data and adjust treatment strategies as needed

Ensure treatment plans are evidence-based and individualized to client needs

Supervise, train, and provide ongoing feedback to behavior technicians and

direct support staff

Conduct regular staff competency evaluations and coaching sessions

Provide caregiver and family training to promote consistency and skill

generalization

Collaborate with case managers, healthcare providers, educators, and other

professionals

Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with

agency policies and professional standards

Ensure compliance with BAC ethical guidelines and applicable federal and state

regulations

Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development

activities

Maintain required continuing education units (CEUs) to uphold BCBA certification

Qualifications

Active BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification

Board (BACB)

Bachelor's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field

Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing ABA services preferred

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or

behavioral challenges

Strong understanding of ethical standards and professional boundaries

Ability to pass required background checks

Strong knowledge of ABA principles and intervention strategies

Ability to develop individualized, data-driven treatment plans

Proficiency in data collection and analysis systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to supervise, mentor, and train staff effectively

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Commitment to client dignity, confidentiality, and ethical practice

Work Environment

Services may be provided in home, community, educational, or clinical settings

depending on client needs. Work schedules may vary based on operational and client requirements.
