Job Summary:
FINNY is a growth platform for financial advisors on a mission to make financial advice more accessible through AI-powered tools. As a Senior Product Engineer, you will own product development from concept to rollout, collaborating with Product and Design to translate goals into engineering execution.
Responsibilities:
• Own product development end-to-end
• Take ownership of features or product areas on a 3–6 week cadence, from concept through rollout
• Translate product goals into concrete engineering plans and execution
• Collaborate with Product on ideation, scoping, and prioritization
• Help turn ambiguous product ideas into clear technical requirements
• Lead development across backend and frontend, with support from domain specialists
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience building full-stack systems
• Experience working with data-heavy systems and production infrastructure
• Familiar with modern product stacks and tooling
• You frame engineering work in terms of user value and business impact
• You care deeply about what you’re building, not just how
• You enjoy owning a problem end-to-end and seeing it through to customers
• You move fast, iterate, and aren’t afraid of ambiguity
• You communicate clearly and make tradeoffs explicit
• You raise the bar for quality while shipping continuously
• You’re excited to work in-person, NYC (Chelsea), 5 days/week
