Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clinical Research Coordinator role based in Sandy Springs, GA. The Clinical Research Coordinator will manage day-to-day study activities, including screening and enrolling participants, scheduling study visits, and maintaining accurate source documentation and case report forms. Responsibilities include coordinating informed consent discussions, ensuring adherence to study protocols, handling regulatory submissions, and maintaining study files. The role involves close collaboration with investigators, sponsors, monitors, and site staff to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and institutional policies. The coordinator will also track study timelines, report adverse events, and support data entry, query resolution, and overall study quality.
Qualifications
  • Experience with informed consent processes and participant education, ensuring ethical and compliant enrollment.
  • Strong understanding of study protocols and ability to implement protocol requirements accurately in daily study operations.
  • Solid research skills, including data collection, documentation, and use of electronic data capture systems.
  • Demonstrated clinical research experience, preferably in coordinating clinical trials in outpatient or site-based settings.
  • Familiarity with clinical trials conduct, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory guidelines (FDA, IRB).
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple studies or tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with participants, investigators, monitors, and sponsors.
  • Ability to work on-site in Sandy Springs, GA, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary clinical research team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and electronic medical record (EMR) or clinical trial management systems is beneficial.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, life sciences, or equivalent experience in clinical research is preferred.
