Job description


First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, organized Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist to join our Commercial Loan Center team. The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of commercial loan and lease documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable governmental laws and regulations.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)
Compensation
The annual pay range for this role is $48,500 - $60,000/annually; commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of commercial loan and lease documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable governmental laws and regulations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Two (2) years of experience in commercial banking, title, leasing, loan operations, loan documentation, servicing or closing; paralegal, finance operations or a related field inclusive of experience reviewing, preparing or processing financial, legal, or lending documentation.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • One (1) year of experience in commercial banking, title, leasing, loan operations, loan documentation, servicing or closing; paralegal, finance operations or a related field inclusive of experience reviewing, preparing or processing financial, legal, or lending documentation.
  • Working knowledge of banking, lending, leasing, or financial services operations and documentation processes.
  • Working knowledge of Loan closing, booking, funding, or servicing activities.
  • Documentation quality control and compliance review.
  • Legal documentation review in a banking, leasing, title, escrow, or paralegal environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Bank's and FHL's policies and procedures.
  • Frequent contact with Bank and FHL personnel at all levels
  • Experience with LaserPro, LeasePak, or similar loan/lease documentation systems.
