Job description

This position is located in the Office of Professional Conduct, Intake & Investigations Section, Investigations Unit of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and is responsible for investigating cases of employee interpersonal misconduct, harassment, and retaliation; gathering evidence, conducting interviews, preparing and documenting case materials, preparing reports of investigation, and briefing leadership on investigation findings when required.Qualifications:Qualifying experience is credited from private and public sectors, including paid and unpaid service (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps). Volunteer service builds competencies that translate to paid work. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience. See OPM's General Schedule Qualification Standards for details.
CG-14: Applicants must complete one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 13 level or above in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: planning, managing and conducting formal administrative investigations related to employee misconduct, harassment, and retaliation; developing complete and comprehensive evidentiary records; preparing reports of investigation and analysis reports; and briefing senior leaders.
