Location: Kingwood, Conroe, Spring, Humble, New Caney, Tomball, Magnolia, Montgomery

About the Role:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings across the United States. This position focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity while supporting the nursing staff. The CNA serves as a critical link between patients and healthcare providers by observing and reporting changes in patient conditions. Through direct patient care, the CNA contributes to the overall treatment plan and helps improve patient outcomes. This role requires a commitment to empathy, attention to detail, and adherence to healthcare protocols to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hospital, nursing home, or long-term care facility.
  • Additional certifications such as Medication Aide or Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA).
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and respectful environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms and equipment to prevent infections.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and report any changes in patient condition promptly.
  • Support patients during medical procedures and assist nursing staff as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies at all times.
