Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a well-established chemical manufacturing facility. This is not an internal Express position.

Your impact

• Execute multi-process welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) on industrial equipment
• Fabricate, repair, and modify metal components to restore function
• Read and apply blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols
• Cut, fit, grind, and position parts for accurate assemblies
• Verify weld integrity, dimensions, and overall quality
• Assist with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance work
• Spot wear or damage and propose corrective actions
• Care for tools and maintain a tidy, safe work area
• Follow plant safety protocols and chemical manufacturing requirements
• Document tasks completed and flag equipment concerns

What you bring

• Prior industrial/manufacturing welding experience
• Skill with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding
• Blueprint and weld symbol literacy
• Experience with grinders, cutting tools, torches, and measuring tools
• Strong fabrication, fitting, and mechanical troubleshooting ability
• Consistent, clean, structurally sound welding technique
• Safety, quality, and detail focus
• Self-directed, team-oriented work style
• Dependable attendance and solid work ethic
• Capacity to stand, bend, lift, and work around industrial machinery
