Duties

• Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing treatments to meet each client’s unique needs.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, lowlights, and color correction using a solid understanding of color theory.
• Apply hair care treatments and recommend suitable products to promote healthy hair and enhance styling results.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations to ensure client safety.
• Manage client consultations effectively by listening attentively, communicating clearly, and advising on styles that suit their lifestyle and preferences.
• Upsell retail products and additional services through excellent customer service skills to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, and ensuring a smooth salon flow.

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a licensed cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse hair styling projects.
• Hands-on expertise in hair coloring techniques.
• Skilled in haircutting styles for all hair types using tools like scissors, clippers, straight razors, and curling irons.
• Experience providing customer service that exceeds expectations through effective communication skills and personalized consultations.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices to uphold health standards within the salon environment.

Pay: $15.00 per hour plus tips.
