About us:
Expert appliance is a locally owned appliance sales and service company with our storefront located in Marlboro, New Jersey. We are currently looking for an experienced Appliance Technician to join our growing team on a full time basis.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Technician with 2+ years of hands-on field experience to handle in-home service calls throughout Monmouth County. This is a commission-based role paying 45% of all completed service work, with strong earning potential and clear room for growth as you build your customer base and take on more complex jobs.
Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service major household appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, etc.) in customers’ homes
• Provide professional, friendly service and communicate clearly with customers
• Complete all paperwork and service reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, organized van and tools
• Occasionally assist with store deliveries or installations as needed
• Represent Expert Appliance Center with honesty and integrity at all times

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional appliance repair experience (field service preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Own set of hand tools and basic appliance repair equipment
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong customer-service skills and professional appearance
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various home environments
• Reliable transportation and smartphone for dispatching

Compensation & Benefits

• 45% commission on all completed service calls (high-volume opportunity)
