Our client, a leading innovator in the consumer goods industry, is seeking an Innovation Project Managerto join their team. As an Innovation Project Manager, you will be part of the Innovation Planning team supporting cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, R&D, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Innovation Project Manager
Location:Englewood Cliffs, NJ ( hybrid 3 days a week onsite)
Pay Range: $30 to $43 p/h w-2 depending upon experience
Duration: 12 month contract
What's the Job?
- Manage innovation project plans from inception through to post-launch evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and full implementation.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs and maintain project networks using MS Project, holding team members accountable for their deliverables.
- Ensure supply chain capacities and capabilities are aligned to support new product innovations across sourcing sites.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including global and regional innovation teams, to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Prepare business case inputs, gate documents, and decision papers, supporting strategic decision-making processes.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, R&D, Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, or R&D with a focus on new product development.
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Financial acumen, risk management expertise, and experience in strategic influencing and supplier relationship management.
