Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects (Internal Title: Estimation V) Responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems on construction and infrastructure projects. This role supports project planning, bidding, budgeting, and cost control by analyzing drawings, specifications, labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related mechanical systems.

Prepare detailed mechanical cost estimates for all phases of projects, including conceptual, preliminary, and final estimates Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and scope documents Perform quantity takeoffs for mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, piping, fire protection, and equipment Develop estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, overhead, and contingency Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and scope alignment Analyze historical data, benchmarks, and current market conditions to ensure competitive pricing Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality or performance Support bid preparation, proposal reviews, and cost negotiations Participate in design reviews, pre-bid meetings, and project handover sessions Assess cost risks and support development of mitigation strategies Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and construction staff to ensure estimate accuracy Maintain organized estimate documentation, assumptions, and cost breakdowns Working Conditions Remote, with some occasional travel to the U.S. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Mechanical estimating or construction cost estimating Direct experience with Data Center projects is required. Proven experience estimating large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects. Proficiency with electrical estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst) and digital take-off tools (e.g., Bluebeam Revu)
