Job description

*** We will train and educate anyone that is highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic about learning a new trader and starting a career in a recession proof industry***

  • Install, inspect, service & repair fire alarm systems, access control and security systems.
  • Install boxes, pull cable, install devices, program alarm panel and test system on new construction projects.
  • Handle service issues on-site including accurately preparing paperwork.
  • Communicate clearly as a team with coworkers and customers.
  • Evaluate and diagnose equipment that requires servicing as well as troubleshoot problems.
  • Provide specific solutions and recommendations to the service manager.
  • Must be available to respond to occasional after hours on call schedule.
  • Perform fire alarm inspections and accurately prepare paperwork that meets code.


Required Skills:

  • • Experience as a low / high voltage electrician and asset but not required.
  •  NICET Certification and asset but not required.
  • • Ability to run conduit and cable.
  • • Knowledge of building & fire codes for inspection purposes.
  • • Problem-solving abilities and customer relation skills.
  • • Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding.


Additional Job Requirements.
Perform the duties of a technician. Make recommendations and provide feedback to management in the evaluation process. Monitor, gather information, and prepare assigned technicians and technical reports.
Works under minimal supervision within established guidelines and procedures. Must be able to prioritize workload.
Must possess a valid motor vehicle license with a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check. Job sites are located throughout Western Colorado.
