About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Onboarding Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will help create a positive and seamless onboarding experience for new hires from offer acceptance through their first days of employment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-service focused, and enjoys working with people in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage new hire onboarding activities and scheduling.
Prepare onboarding documentation and ensure completion of required employment forms.
Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and answer employee questions.
Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and department managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Maintain employee records and update HR systems with accurate information.
Track onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding tasks or documentation.
Assist with employment verifications, background checks, and pre-employment requirements.
Support HR projects and administrative duties as assigned.
Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset.
Preferred
Previous administrative, customer service, internship, or HR-related experience.
Familiarity with HRIS systems or applicant tracking systems.
Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
