Job description

Electrical Technician – Residential, Service & Light Commercial

Full-Time | $23–$28/hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability

Everything Electrical, LLC is looking for a dependable Electrical Technician with approximately 2–5 years of hands-on electrical experience to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on field position for someone who has progressed beyond the beginner apprentice level and is comfortable completing routine electrical work without constant supervision.

This is not a Lead Electrician or Foreman position. You will not be expected to manage crews or independently oversee entire projects. You will work both independently and alongside our Lead Electrician and other field employees depending on the project.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, wants to continue learning the trade, communicates professionally and can be counted on to do quality work.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform residential, service and light-commercial electrical work
  • Complete electrical rough-ins and trim-outs
  • Install wiring, receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures and electrical devices
  • Assist with electrical panel installations, replacements and circuit work
  • Troubleshoot and repair common electrical problems
  • Perform routine service-call work based on experience and ability
  • Assist with generator and EV charger installations
  • Read and follow electrical plans, specifications and job instructions
  • Complete assigned electrical work independently when appropriate
  • Work alongside the Lead Electrician on larger or more complex projects
  • Follow National Electrical Code (NEC), local code requirements and Everything Electrical quality standards
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, customers, contractors and other trades
  • Identify problems, additional work or potential change orders and communicate them to the Lead Electrician or management before proceeding
  • Maintain clean, organized and professional jobsites
  • Properly maintain company tools and equipment
  • Help manage job materials and minimize unnecessary waste
  • Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures, including proper PPE
  • Complete timesheets and required job documentation accurately
  • Travel between local jobsites as required

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2–5 years of professional electrical field experience
  • Residential electrical experience
  • Experience with rough-ins and trim-outs
  • Experience installing receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures and other electrical devices
  • Basic experience working with electrical panels and circuits
  • Ability to troubleshoot common residential electrical problems
  • Service-call experience preferred
  • Light-commercial electrical experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Ability to read basic electrical plans and follow job specifications
  • Ability to safely use electrical tools, meters and testing equipment
  • Ability to work independently on routine assigned tasks
  • Ability to take direction and work effectively with a Lead Electrician
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and jobsite safety
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel between local jobsites as required

Pay & Benefits

$23–$28/hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability

We offer:

  • Full-time employment
  • Medical insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Consistent residential, service and light-commercial electrical work
  • Small field crews
  • Variety of electrical work and opportunities to expand your skills
  • Opportunity for advancement within the company
