About This Role

Ethos Childcare exists to provide a Christ-centered learning environment where children are encouraged to grow through faith, play, and purpose.


We believe children are created by God with unique gifts and abilities. Through loving relationships, intentional teaching, hands-on exploration, and play, children develop the confidence, character, and skills they need to thrive.

We're hiring Lead Teachers who love inspiring young hearts, nurturing learning, and shaping the lives of children in a Christ-centered classroom environment.


What You'll Do
  • Give the children under my care my full attention.
  • Follow and implement the curriculum used by the center.
  • Develop and maintain a DAP classroom schedule for my age group.
  • Use the Brightwheel app to report for each child in the classroom a record of activities, nap times, medication, and any other necessary information.
  • Nurture each child to grow and reach their appropriate developmental milestones
  • Be aware of and follow all laws and requirements set by DCY and center policies.
  • Be in open communication with parents, teachers, and the director

Requirements

Have you...

  • Worked in a DCY-licensed childcare center as a lead teacher with infants or toddlers
  • Completed all requirements for a childcare employee designated by DCY
  • Completed or be willing to complete any required training and professional development: DCY orientation, CPR/First Aid, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse

Nice To Haves
  • Completed a CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study
