Essential Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Richmond, Virginia location. This full-time position involves working directly with patients in our outpatient rehabilitation facility, where you will help optimize their physical functions and enhance their overall quality of life. Work Environment

At our Richmond facility, you will work in a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages professional development and collaboration. The work schedule is set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessments and treatment plans that meet each patient's unique goals and conditions.
• Maintain a manageable caseload that allows for dedicated, one-on-one care, ensuring every patient receives the attention they deserve.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to guide patients towards recovery, drawing from evidence-based practices.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities designed to improve patient motion and mobility while minimizing the need for surgical interventions.
• Develop comprehensive care plans by utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Conduct regular evaluations of patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation for each session using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage and motivate patients, educating them on their conditions and the importance of adherence to their treatment regimens.
• Promote holistic wellness by developing and implementing fitness programs tailored to individuals’ specific health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population at Essential Physical Therapy consists of individuals recovering from sports-related injuries, post-surgical patients, and those with chronic pain or movement disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
• An active and clean Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional ability to design and execute successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, for effective patient record management.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy practices backed by clinical research and ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize advanced therapeutic techniques to optimize patient recovery.
• Experience working as part of a collaborative healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and encourage their engagement in the rehabilitation process.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
