Position Overview

Ergo Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and licensed mental health professionals to join our team as Licensed Mental Health Counselors. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments with clients to determine their mental health status, needs, and treatment goals, employing detailed evaluation techniques.
• Craft personalized treatment plans based on clients' unique circumstances, setting measurable objectives tailored to their needs and aspirations.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions to adult clients through video conferencing tools, utilizing evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution-focused techniques.
• Provide crisis intervention services as required, utilizing your skills to assess risk, manage emergencies, and promote clients’ safety and well-being.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including training workshops and seminars, to remain up-to-date with evolving best practices in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients consist of individuals from varied backgrounds facing an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our culturally competent approach ensures that therapists are equipped to address varied needs and foster productive therapeutic relationships. The diversity of our clientele allows for rich engagement and opportunities for therapists to deepen their understanding of varied perspectives in mental health.

Qualifications

• A valid and current licensing as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude is vital for effectively supporting clients through their journeys.
• An organized approach to managing client schedules, documentation, and treatment progress.
• No disciplinary actions on your professional record.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse demographics to tailor mental health interventions effectively.
• Knowledge and previous use of teletherapy platforms to conduct remote sessions.
• A background in crisis intervention techniques and resources.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
