Role Description The Canada IT Recruiter role at Episdata Inc. is a contract position based in Houston, TX with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of in-office and work-from-home days. The recruiter will manage end-to-end IT recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and assessing candidates for technical and technology-related roles across Canada. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with hiring managers to define role requirements, posting job ads, conducting interviews, coordinating technical assessments, and managing candidate communication throughout the hiring lifecycle. The role also involves maintaining talent pipelines, leveraging online platforms and professional networks, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The recruiter will track recruitment metrics, support process improvements, and uphold compliance with applicable employment practices and company policies.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Full-life Cycle Recruiting, including managing the entire hiring process from requisition to offer.
• Strong IT Recruitment and Technical Recruiting skills, with the ability to assess technical competencies and match candidates to specialized roles.
• Proven expertise in Recruiting and Hiring, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection for diverse IT positions.
• Familiarity with Canadian labor market dynamics and experience recruiting for roles based in Canada.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), professional networking platforms, and online sourcing tools.
• Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to build trust with candidates and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple requisitions and deadlines.
• Prior experience in agency or corporate IT recruitment; a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
