Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Job in Georgetown, Ohio.

Day, Evening and Night Shifts

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Job Overview:

  • Performs position specific job functions at an acceptable level with minimal direction.
  • Maintain certifications, education, and development appropriate for position.
  • Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame.
  • Works well with others in a spirit of teamwork and corporation.
  • Exceed expectations of internal and external customers: Patients, families, physicians, colleagues, visitors, and vendors
  • Provide the highest level of care to those individuals and healthcare organizations we serve through our valued team of professionals.
  • Recording vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate. Providing routine individualized healthcare needs.
  • Personal Care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services.
  • Assist other STNAs and nurses in the direction of the Charge Nurse.
  • Follow facility procedures for admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
  • Giving basic emotional and psychological support to the patient and family. Directly provide nursing or nursing-related service.
  • Maintaining records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report.
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the toilet, standing, walking, or exercising. Ensure that nutritional needs of residents are met in accordance with the established care plan.
  • Maintain physical environment in a clean, safe, and pleasant manner.
  • Ensure residents' medical needs are addressed through the delivery of quality nursing care. Ensure that residents' personal care needs are provided for with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness.
  • Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid STNA certification to work within the State of Ohio
  • CPR - AHA, ARC or Other
